Great app for speaking ukrainain my Baba speaks perfect Ukrainian and said this app is very acurate I will use it when I travel to the Ukraine. I love the fact that it is offline and that it has the native speaker for those tricky words all in all this is a great star app only problem is that it doesnt have a web suported translation for phrases that arent in the phrase book if it had that it would be a 22абб this app is not it is ™

It is a straight forward app. I started on lite. I am looking forwArd to the speech to speech upgrade. I am an actual customer. I bought it cause I have learned from it.

Having grown up with a little UKRAINIAN at home I pretty well have forgotten , this app has reintroduced me to the language , I do appreciate this very much . JK

But it would be great if They added a translator

I LIKED!!!! ALTOUG IS A LITTLE SLOW TO PLAY THE WORDS, AND IT SHOULD HAVE THE ALPHABET SOUNDS TOO TKS

This app rocks! Its straight forward and easy to use, and best of all, unlike the generic translator programs, has english pronunciations as well the cryilic. I work with several kids from the Ukrain and dont know anything about the crylic alphabet, but with this app, it makes it easy to make an attempt to speak to them in Ukrainian. For later upgrades, the only suggestion I would ask for would be a "Favorites" or "Frequently Used" catagory. Where you could add copies of 5 or 10 of your own most frequently used phrases or words. This is one of those apps that deserve a 5+.

This is a great way to learn some basic things in Ukrainian! Im using this with some students who are from the Ukraine. It has a very understandable voice! Worth the money!

I purchased this app to prepare for business travel to Ukraine. The cyrillic alphabet has always been a mystery to me (yes, I know I should work on that) but with this app thats no problem. Pronunciation is provided audibly by a real (not computer generated) native voice and in phonetic english and the dreaded cyrillic as well. Working with this app alone, I received many nice compliments on my Ukrainian. I liked it so much that I purchased the version for Russian (not all Ukrainians speak Ukrainian) and... just for the heck of it... the French version as well. Im hoping that at some point the developers will also make additional "word packs" available as they do for Russian and French.

I just spent 2 months in Ukraine and this app was wonderful. More phrases would be great though! A simple guide on sentence structure, an alphabet that shows how each Ukrainian letter is pronounced, and maybe a link to a translator would make this app the best translator app in the world! Keep up the good work!

This app is awesome my wife is ukranian and Ive lived with her and her two best friends for two years and all I learned was the bad words haha but this app is great to learn the simple words

Dyakuyu !!! Already I feel like I can speak to my family in Ukraine without feeling badly about having been born outside of the country of my dad . Being a proud American and having assimilated into this culture I had totally put my Ukraine roots aside . I am so grateful to you for this app and redeeming in the eyes of my family on my fathers family! I owe all this to you , I will be sure to spread the word about you !!!!

Im having fun with this app. I knew a few Ukrainian words having a had a Ukrainian grandmother. She would be proud that Ive learned a lot more with the help of the app. :) hoping for an update with more words and phrases.

I just spent 10 days in Kyiv and Vynnitsia and loved having this app. Super handy for simple communication. After a couple days training, I could say hello, good bye, please, and thank you. A few more days and I would have been able to say "Hello (correctly for the time of day). I dont speak Ukranian. Do you speak English?" The people of Ukraine are so friendly and hospitable. They always went out of their way for me and my family. For this I am grateful. One wish: the ability to star phrases and get back to the favorite phrases quickly. I found myself regulary needing about 10 phrases, but could not find them quickly as they were scattered among "communication", "numbers", "eating out", "greetings". It sometimes took me a awhile to find the phrase a second or third time. Search is useful, but I would often search for the wrong terms... Is it "bill" or "check" that I should type to find the phrase for "please bring me the check"? Ok, one more: "where is the toilet" would have been handy. Sure, saying "toilet" works, but is so much more crude than using a whole phrase. Oh, an alphabet pronunciation guide and I could have left the Lonely Planet phrase book at home. Overall a great app.

Very helpful tool for learning the basics. We have a child coming over from Ukraine and needed to learn some basic phrases. We tried several different programs but this is the one everyone in our family agreed was the most helpful and easiest to use.

I use this to try and learn ukrainian so I can talk to my fiancés parents. ( they dont understand English) soo please WORDS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Youd guys be PERFECT if u could just say every word in the dictionary!

This app is awesome i swear I wish Id found it earlier. Very helpful for me I need to absorb my girlfriends culture and language because like the other guy said I will need to be able to converse with her parents and friends.

I love this app! So easy, so much to choose from. Most helpful thing out there. Just wish I could copy the words!

My 9 year old granddaughter and I have been using this app for a few months now and we have learned so much. I love that the words are spelled phonically and that the voice speaks slow enough to really hear it and mimic it. I completely recommend this for the young and older.
